Perkins Lodge Farm is a family farm on the outskirts of Long Buckby and has been the home of my family for 100 years. We farm approximately 500 acres which is split between an arable rotation (producing crops for food) and grassland grazed by our beef cattle. We focus on producing high quality wheat for local biscuit and flour makers, alongside malting barley, oats, beans and oilseed rape, all of which are sold through a local farmer owned co-operative. We calve our own cows in the spring and keep the calves through to sale direct to our customers. If you've seen Buckby Beef in a shop, pub or restaurant you can be sure it was born and reared on our farm to some of the highest standards in the UK.

So why are we starting to sell directly to the public through our website? Because we've been supplying local businesses for a few years now and the feedback has been great! People love knowing where their food comes from and we love producing high quality food for friends and neighbours in our local area.
